The Evangelism and Follow-Up Department of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is a vital arm of the church commissioned to fulfill the Great Commission as instructed by our Lord Jesus Christ. The department is committed to reaching the lost with the gospel of salvation and ensuring that every soul won is properly nurtured, established in the faith, and integrated into the body of Christ.
The primary responsibility of the department is soul winning through various evangelistic strategies, including personal evangelism, street and market outreach, house-to-house witnessing, crusades, and special outreach programs. Through these avenues, the department spreads the message of repentance, salvation, and the love of God, bringing men and women into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

To passionately reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and ensure every convert is nurtured into spiritual maturity, active church membership, and kingdom service.
To obey the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20) by winning souls.
To establish strong spiritual foundations for new converts.
To integrate converts into church life, discipleship, and ministry.
Preach the gospel effectively through personal and mass evangelism.
Ensure proper documentation and tracking of new converts and first-time worshippers.
Follow up converts through calls, visits, prayers, and counseling.
Introduce converts to foundational Christian teachings and RCCG beliefs.
Integrate converts into house fellowships, departments, and discipleship classes.
Encourage baptism in water and Holy Ghost infilling.
